If they don’t, open Window ▸ Type ▸ OpenType and switch on Standard Ligatures.

When an app has no glyph panel, you pick the letter here, copy it, and paste it in. Tap any picture to enlarge and zoom.
On a Mac — Font BookOpen Font Book and select your font.
If you don’t see every character, switch to Repertoire view (the grid button at the top).
Scroll to the decorative letters — they sit near the end.
Click the one you want, then Copy, and paste it into your app.
Open Character Map and choose your font.
Tick Advanced view.
Set Group by to Unicode Subrange, then choose Private Use Characters.
Click a glyph → Select → Copy, then paste (set the text to the same font).
